Pune : Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally threw a wedding reception in Delhi on 1st and 2nd December and the lehenga which Chopra wore took none other than 80 workers to craft it in 12000 hours. Isn’t it jaw-dropping?
Known to everyone that Nick and Priyanka finally got stringed to each other as couples on December 1st and 2nd. Reception on Tuesday was attended by many celebs and by PM Narendra Modi as well. Both the days had the reception according to Hindu and Catholic ceremonies where in, Priyanka wore a dress containing 75 feet long veil which was carried with the help of 6 people and walked to the aisle with her mother Madhu Chopra as his father passed long back in 2013.
Gorgeous Priyanka Chopra with Nick shared the photographs of both the ceremony weddings just before the reception started. Taking of the Hindu wedding on the same day, Priyanka wore a blood red lehenga which was embroidered by Mughal jewellery of uncut diamonds with Japanese pearls and 22 carats of gold. Lehenga also had parents’ name of the couple sewed in devanagari lipi. Shocking fact about all this was that it was handmade which took almost 5 months to complete.
The Hindu wedding took place in Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur after which both reached Delhi and appeared as couple. Delhi reception had Priyanka wearing another beaded lehenga designed by Falguni Shane peacock India. The silver and white Lehenga waa embroidered by millions of sparkling crystals which was made in a whopping time of 12000 hours by 80 craftsmen. Although, there’s more to come as Priyanka and Nick will now address their Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai with another reception.
